The Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus, one of the most beautiful in Canada, is nestled below the Niagara Escarpment, a United Nations World Biosphere Reserve. The campus will be further enhanced with a new Wine Education and Visitor Centre, and expansion to the Culinary Skills training area.
Wine Visitor and Education Centre - This new 8,525 sq. ft. building will consolidate Teaching Winery facilities that are spread over four locations on campus. Features include a state-of-the-art wine production lab, barrel room and wine library. The centre will also have tasting counters, retail wine sales, interactive displays, and space for seminars, meetings and presentations. The Vintage Hall and Vineyard Terrace will provide indoor and outdoor venues for special events.
Culinary Skills Expansion - An addition to the culinary education area, behind the Niagara Culinary Institute restaurant, will create space for a fifth food lab for integrated culinary production and contemporary cuisine, as well as more space for receiving and processing of food products. A new lower level will house additional learning space, as well as a reception area and three artisanal rooms: a cold cellar for fruits and vegetables, an aging room for cheese, and a charcuterie room for curing and aging meats
